10th of September 2016, my left leg was injured due to my clumsy handling
with a knife and got some stitches on the day I was suppose to leave towards Calgary.. Meanwhile, I went on to go out and meet some homeless people in Edmonton at the place called “Hope Mission”
In 1929, Reverend Harold Edwardson established a soup kitchen in Edmonton’s inner-city serving meals to hundreds of people struggling with unemployment and homelessness at the onset of the Depression.
Today Hope Mission has grown into a not-for-profit Christian social care agency caring for impoverished and homeless men, women and children in Alberta.
I was able to talk with Earl; a man with Indian status in Canada kindly accepted my request for a short chat but ended up with a full welcome street-family introduction to each other at this street.
